Selected Solstice Dancers are welcome to participate!
2 Event Dates - Do 1 or do Both (a separate participation fee will be added later for those doing the second event)
Sunday, September 27, 2026 - 3-6pm (ish, with earlier call time) - Celebrate the Santa Barbara Foresters Historic WIN!!! Performing Solstice Dances, with some baseball fun thrown in (new costume). At the Carriage Museum.
Friday, October 2, 2026, 5-8pm (ish with earlier call time) - Masq-Parade Downtown Santa Barbara - Solstice Dances and Costumes with Piano music (featuring our own Laura Tice on piano!).
Participation Requirements:
Same rehearsal schedule for everyone, regardless of which performances you do - with 1 extra rehearsal for those doing the Masq-Parade. If you are only doing the Foresters event, you do NOT need to attend the final Masq-Parade rehearsal. But those doing Masq-parade only are required to attend the Foresters rehearsals (as this is where we review and refine our Solstice dances).
Rehearsal dates for EVERYONE -
Wednesday, September 16; Monday, September 21, and Wednesday September 23;
Extra rehearsal for everyone performing in the Masq-Parade ($25 extra rehearsal/performance fee will be collected prior to this rehearsal) - Wednesday, September 30 (this rehearsal may run until 9pm).
Rehearsals are held indoors at State Street Ballet Dance Studio from 7:00-8:30pm Mondays and Wednesdays.
Participation and Rehearsal Fee is $100
You will need to purchase costume pieces for the Foresters event - these details have been shared in the Facebook messenger group.
We are also designing a Mask for the 2nd event which will need to be purchased.
